Red Cross Services To Armed Forces to be Featured on Palm Beach Broadcasting!
“Tammy let’s assume that people are just hearing right now for the first time ever that the Services to the Armed Forces program is there, boil it down to it’s basic form. Tell me all about it” said Bill Adams of Palm Beach Broadcasting as he interviewed Tammy Jackson-Moore, Community Executive about Red Cross Services to the Armed Forces.
“The Services to the Armed Forces program that is encompassed within the Red Cross is all about supporting the service member while he or she is actually on the battle field, while he or she is actually on the NAVY bases or the military bases as well as when he or she returns back home,” answered Jackson-Moore.
The American Red Cross’ unwavering commitment to members of the U.S. military, its veterans and their families continues to grow and develop more than a century after Clara Barton first recruited nurses to support the U.S. Army. Each day, the Red Cross is meeting the needs of a changing military and expanding services to veterans. Red Cross support of military members and their families enhances morale and contributes to increased operational capability in several ways.
