10th Annual Collier County Red Cross “Legacy Award”
The American Red Cross of Collier County presented Deborah L. Russell with its prestigious Legacy Award at a breakfast at The Club at Pelican Bay September 28.
Deborah is a principal of Cummings & Lockwood LLC in the Naples office. She is admitted to practice in Florida and before the United States Tax Court and District Court for the middle district of Florida. Deborah focuses her practice in the fields of estate planning, charitable gift planning, trust and estate administration and post mortem tax strategies. She is Board Certified in the area of Wills, Trusts and Estates.
She is an active member of the Executive Council of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and chairs the Wills, Trusts and Estates Board Certification Review Course Committee. Deborah is a frequent speaker on estate planning and estate administration topics.
Deborah is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and has an AV® Preeminent™ rating by Martindale-Hubbell. She has been named in Best Lawyers® by Woodard/White, Inc. for the years 2008-2011 and as a Florida Super Lawyer for the years 2007-2011.
In addition to her professional activities, Deborah serves as a Trustee of the Community Foundation of Collier County, Director of the Naples Historical Society, member of the Professional Capabilities Committee and the Foundation Committee of Naples Community Hospital, and member of the Finance Committee of the Neighborhood Health Clinic. In 2011, Deborah was recognized as a “Woman of Initiative of Collier County” for her many contributions to the community.
