Monitoring Hurricane Irene Update #2

Although Florida falls outside the projected path of Hurricane Irene, she is still predicted to be the largest storm to hit the East Coast in more than 70 years and could impact big population centers. The American Red Cross is getting ready to respond along much of the eastern seaboard — and already 8 local volunteers from our Palm Beaches-Treasure Coast region have been deployed to possible points of impact.
