Lee County Staff Deployment to disasters across the country

The Lee County Red Cross has been deploying volunteers to many of the recent disasters.  We currently have Kari Hennagin that responded to the Texas wildfires.  Jan George in North Carolina for the tornadoes.  Colin Downey was on his way to the Missouri floods when he was diverted to the Georgia tornadoes.  Betty Conley has reported to Alabama as a nurse with Wink News reporter Genevieve Judge by her side keeping viewers here in Lee County informed on the disaster response. Suzanne Boschetto leaves early tomorrow for the Northern Mississippi tornadoes.  We also have more volunteers in the pipeline to deploy.  With 7 disasters currently on the books we are very grateful for our wonderful volunteers and their willingness to put their lives on hold to help others.
